DiRT Rally is coming to Mac, courtesy of Feral Interactive, on November 16. It is also available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Linux.
Feral Interactive and Codemasters announced today that a Mac version of their popular rally racing game DiRT Rally will be releasing later this week on November 16. They also revealed that this version of the game supports Metal 2, which is Apple’s latest graphics API, and that it will cost $59.99.
For those of you who don’t know, DiRT Rally first launched on PC all the way back in December of 2015. It then made its way to PS4 and Xbox One in April of 2016 and Linux in March of this year. DiRT Rally is an authentic rally game that features quite sophisticated controls to capture the feeling of actual rally racing. It is quite hard to master, but the game becomes very rewarding once you do.
Unfortunately, the minimum and recommended system requirements weren’t revealed, as Feral Interactive plans on posting those closer to the game’s release on Steam, the Mac App Store, and Feral Interactive’s store Thursday. That being said, the minisite for the game is up, for those who want to check it out.
